  17. Well said.  It seems that with whatever miracle occurred that allowed
  18. rational thought into the human mind and allowed someone to see past 
  19. the current stereotypes (whenever that was), the human race obtained
  20. a permit to have relationships that were based on love.  I, for one,
  21. would like to believe that my marraige will last (if it ever occurs).
  22. And I would like to believe that one of the reasons I marry my wife
  23. will be that I love her.  I think that I would have subconsciously hated 
  24. myself had I lived in the aforementioned era.
