- This is also evidenced in the symbols that adorn the flag of Mongolia. There
- is a series of shapes including a yin yang symbol, and one that could be a
- representation of the moon (or sun?). This set of symbols has been around for
- hundreds of years, yet when the Communists took over, they added a star at the
- top. I don't know if Mongolia will lose the star, but I have some mail from
- the Mongol-American Cultural Association, and there is no star.
