  17. I personally am not surprised - I mean, if you live in a pit, but you
  18. are free to move to a paradise.... No I don't think the general
  19. sentiment being echoed here is surprise - it is more along the lines of
  20. unhappiness - unhappiness in seeing what the flow of Californians is
  21. doing to the state.

  28. Maybe... but why can't they go back to where they came from in the first
  29. place? :)   They went to California lookin' for gold, found nothing, and
  30. now want to come to Oregon... I've been torturing my brain trying to
  31. think of some way to fix this problem, and come up with zip... maybe a
  32. bubonic plague scare or something... a band of really hostile loggers
  33. listening to "A Country Boy Can Survive" on repeat at the OR-CA border
  34. as a welcoming committee?  I still wish the 'Visit... but Don't Stay'
  35. sign could have went up... really.
