  12. Heavy Metal is one of my favorite movies but it has been quite a
  13. while since I have seen it because of its unavailability on home 
  14. video due to legal problems over royalties.  I also collect animation
  15. cels and I was talking to the owner of an animation art gallery here
  16. in Houston and he said he would be willing to try and have the
  17. movie shown at Rice University as part of an animation film series
  18. he helps sponsor.

  20. Rice has agreed to show the movie but they don't know how to obtain 
  21. a copy.  I remember reading on the net a month or two ago about 
  22. other universities that have shown Heavy Metal. I would appreciate
  23. it if somebody could e-mail me the name of a school where it was 
  24. recently shown and if possible the sponsoring organization so I can
  25. find out how to get a print.

  27. It would be even better if somebody actually knows how to get hold
  28. of a print of the movie.
