- The original Invaders from Mars left me with some indelible negative
- childhood impressions.. those people being sucked into the sand with
- the eerie choral music. The original Blob too scared the bejeezus
- out of me when I saw it back in the late 50s in a theatre.
- Then again I had a friend who was totally freaked out by the
- old Sci-Fi film Atomic Submarine. Anyone remember that one? Large
- UFO lands under the ocean, U.S. patrol sub goes to investigate,
- lodges itself int he UFO which turns out to be made of some kind
- of organic matter, and is populated by a huge cyclops alien... UFO
- is filled with narrow walkways that come and go in the darkness.
- Spooky stuff. :)
