- Par tof the problem is that we cannot "just say no" to the secret
- government, however we might understand it. To be effective we must
- have some sense of what we are saying "yes" to. And it is extraordinarily
- difficult to get agreement on this point. I believe that this problem
- is due in large part to massive and long-standing disniformation spread
- both through the media and through academia which distorts peoples
- perceptions of what is happening in the world, and confuses our values
- as to what a good society would actually consist of.

- I happen to believe that LaRouche has the program that is right for
- America and beneficial to the people of the world, but few here seem
- willing to read and comprehend that program, even to criticize or oppose
- it. They prefer to make ignorant wisecracks, call names, and engage in
- unfounded characterizations.
