- Certainly it can be read that way. However it would also be a consistent
- interpretation to suggest that the writer is an opponent of groups
- often confused with Jews, such as Zionists or international bankers, and
- considers outspoken opposition to "Judiasm" to be a red herring which
- serves to distract from those more appropriate and focussed concerns.
- I admit that the subsequent forthright racism which I cited makes that
- interpretation less likely, and that which you suggest more likely.
