  28. Well, I'd say you better not read any science fiction, then, if you
  29. tend to believe that anything that is technologically possible
  30. leads one to the "obvious conclusion that" it will someday be
  31. applied.  But even so, Gritz is even more looney.
  32. He is saying that the mark of the beast is here
  33. right now!  And it is the UPC bar codes, and we are soon going
  34. to all have bar codes *tattooed* onto our foreheads.  I'm serious!

  44. did he make this prediction?  1969?  That was a wonderful time
