  23. I don't care about the media ... what nobody tells you  is that people
  24. who have given   up and stopped looking   for work, or who   have been
  25. unemployed  so   long  that  they    no  longer  receive  unemployment
  26. compensation are *not* *counted* in the statistics. The statistics are
  27. for  unemployment    insurance claims,   *not*  the   total  number of
  28. unemployed people who want jobs.
