- Someone please, CREATE alt.tv.chips!!!
-
- No, I'm really serious. Across the nation and especially in the LA area,
- everyone's favorite disco patrol is popping up everywhere on every station.
- It's not uncommon to find seven, ten, even fifteen showings a week on
- various local, national, and cable networks. Evidently, those taken aback
- by and/or enamored with PC '90's culture have found some nostalgia for the
- '80's where smiling buxom women offered intrigue to the knights of the highway
- who rode their mighty patrol bicycles through the nation's bloodstream.
- The hot California wind tugged at their hair, held securely under their
- helmets, as they moved down the road in search of new adventure. Oddly
- enough, it was usually adventure that found our two brave heroes. Whether
- this adventure came in the form of a toxic spill across the highway, a sleazy
- chop shop, or a night out on the town to deliver babies in a discotheque
- (not to mention other early '80's fads such as ultralights, daily-commute
- drag races, and new-age self-help philosophy), the officers would never turn
- down a damsel in distress (especially a blonde, well-endowed one)
-
- So what DO y'all say? Anybody ready to create this group?
