  13. On the 6AM morning news a few days ago, I groggily heard the anchor saying
  14. that there is a vicious child support bill now headed through the
  15. Massachusetts legislature?  Or soon?  (I said I was groggy ...)  Does anyone
  16. know what this is or how I can find out, so I can get in contact with my
  17. local rep and senator, and chairpeople of the right committees, etc.?

  19. I hereby propose myself to perform activities on behalf of the Child Support
  20. Alliance of Massachusetts.  I don't have a lot of time, but I can't stand
  21. by idly any longer, wishing things would change.  I've got to do something.
  22. Nothing is ever going to change unless I (and any other MA [un]fortunates)
  23. get out there and start writing, calling, and speaking to the people who
  24. are responsible for this stuff.

  26. And I'd call it Child Support Alliance over Child Supporters Alliance solely
  27. because it aides *our* side by obfuscating the fact that the group is for (I
  28. assume) normal and realistic levels of support.  By calling it Child
  29. Supporters Alliance it is clear where we sit -- on the side of the
  30. supporters.  Never show your hand until you must, right?
