  12. I liken the PC situation in the academia to Socrates' Athens after the
  13. Thirty Tyrants, and I have been forced to employ a portion of his 
  14. method: I'm reluctant to say what I actually think on many issues;
  15. It seems that in our culture of complaint, we want to rename anything
  16. unpleasant in the hope that it will go away.

  18. I pray that the fervor follows in the footsteps of the death of 
  19. McCarthyism - even its staunch advocates will begin to recognize
  20. the sheer destructiveness it launches upon open and effective
  21. discourse.
