- CRC stands for cyclic redundancy check, it is a sophisticated form of
- checksum. CRC's are used in the .dwg file to verify that the
- information read from disk matches what was written. CRC's provide
- AutoCAD with a way of detecting but not preventing corrupt
- .dwg files.
