- I don't know this model, but I've been throwing these Backyard
- Boomerangs made by Gary Broadbent (North Ridgeville, near Cleveland,
- Ohio). At about 8 meters, they're range is too big for my backyard,
- and it's too cold out there anyway, but they're perfect for the
- mini-gym the Ottawa Jugglers' Jam meets in. I've been working on
- juggling them, and have finally gotten past 5 catches before I drop.
- Unbelievably cool.
-
- These things would also survive anyone's cat. They're made of this
- weird kind of plastic. They sound like they're metal when they hit
- something, but they bend slightly and are no problem to catch. The
- edges are sharper than I'd prefer, but they're not bad. Just watch
- out for your eyes.
