- There are beers that are similar in one way or another (some of the
- stronger Barley Wines and Doppelbocks), but the overall character of Thomas

- I think the closest I've found is Commonwealth's Winter Warmer, which has
- a malty, vinous flavor not unlike mature Thomas Hardy's. But 'closest' is a
- relative term, and I can't think of anything that's directly comparable.
