  20. I've been experimenting with beers and lately I've been making a pretty
  21. good batch.  Here's the recipe:

  23.     7 lbs. wheat malt
  24.     Hops:  Cascade -- alpha=7.6 beta=6.9
  25.            Nugget  -- alpha=14.1 beta=3.9
  26.     Yeast: Steinbart's (local store brand) Ale yeast

  28. I boil the wheat malt with water and the Cascade hops, then add Nugget
  29. for steaping at the end, then pitch the yeast at the usual time.

  31. So far, this beer has been excellent.  It's similar to a Winter Brew
  32. or to Portland Ale.
