- I have set-up software at my home system that will now process BBS
- lists in the following format:
-
- %n Name of system
- %t Telephone number (1-234-567-8901 format)
- %c Contact person (Sysop)
- %s Software
- %r Remarks (as may %r lines as necessary, limited to 50-column
- %r lines)
- %k Keywords (rollplaying games files, etc.)
- %u Updated (format: 061473 carlb@u.washington.edu would list
- this submission as June 14, 1973 by carlb@u.washingtion.edu)
-
- The fields are self-explainitory for the most part. Note that only
- %r fields may use more than one line, and %u is included so that my
- site will automatically check sites after xx time has passed.
-
- Anyone willing to submit some systems? I am doing this to test my
- software and promote an easy way to get BBS lsts via e-mail that can
- be set for a certain prefix, area code, keywords, software, etc. You
- get the idea. Submissions sould be sent to "carlb@u.washington.edu"
- from where I shal send them to my home computer.
-
- Comments and feedback are also welcome. I will have a number of
- systems from my local ara (Seattle) on this list within a few days,
- but I`m still going to need more. This will be onlne for two months,
- if the usage is less than expected, then this service will be dropped.
