- To answer your question, Mitchell, WWIV is a store-and-forward network
- of mainly PC-based BBSs. It's not really similar to FIDOnet; the
- design, and method of its operation, is different. Also, as far as I
- know, there's no existing gateway between WWIV nodes and the Internet,
- unlike FIDOnet.
