  33. I was considering geting an ISDN connexion for my machines at home but went for
  34. a modem instead because of the equipment and line rental cost and the fact that
  35. my UNIX (Interactive System V/386 version 3.2) won't drive the machine's serial port
  36. at anything over 38400bps anyway!

  38. I went for a Miracom Courier HST/DS in the end which seems to give me a SLIP
  39. throughput of 28K or so.
