  13. I have owned several older American cars before, and I am starting to get 
  14. the 'bug' again. This time I would like to get a British roadster. I am
  15. mechanically competent and enjoy spending most of my free time and all
  16. of my money trying to keep a car on the road.

  18. I have no practical knowledge on the individual UK cars. I would like
  19. to know what is perhaps the best car to learn the ropes on. This perhaps
  20. means sacrificing styling/rarity over parts supply, ease of access to the 
  21. engine, reliability etc..
