- Ok gang, I just went through (or will soon meet) the following transits:
- Oct 27: Jupiter trines my natal Saturn.
- Nov 20: Saturn sextiles my natal Jupiter.
-
- Now, can you astrologers figure out what's been going on in my life lately? :)
- Come on, you can figure it out. Here are a few more I just had:
-
- Oct 17: Jupiter transits my natal Pluto.
- Oct 19: Jupiter trines my natal Part of Fortune.
- In addition, I've been having Uranus square natal Uranus (over, over
- again retrograde, and then over once more) for all this year.
-
- Ok, basic meanings of the transits follow. (I hope to get an Astrolog 2.40
- to do this for us, of course):
- Jupiter trine Saturn: Expansion and fortune in areas of discipline and work.
- Saturn sextile Jupiter: Opportinity for grounding and manifestation of ideals.
- Jupiter conjnct Pluto: Great time of transformation and ending of old ways.
- Jupiter trine Fortune: Good luck, good fortune, in areas of personal talent.
- Uranus square Uranus: Disruption or change in areas of personal freedom.

- Answer: I got a new job. Interview last month, started beginning of
- this month. May be long hours but I love what I am doing, earn decent
- money and am learning lots. However, since I am out of college and
- just about to turn 21, this is my first real full time job. Also, this
- is symbolically a break from parental support and the beginnings of self
- sufficency. Anyway, I found the transits very appropriate and logical
- here. Of course, looking at these upcoming transits back in early
- October, I knew I was going to get the position, and should enjoy it! :)
-
- Anyway, one outcome of this is that I now have access to a nice PC
- with graphics in my office, and even a Mac. So expect the next version
- of Astrolog, 2.40 (or maybe even 3.00), to not only run and compile on
- PCs without any problems or glitches whatever, but to have real
- graphics like the X stuff, too! Of course, I first have to learn PC
- graphics, and time it around my job, so it might be a while still.
-
- Ok, now that I've told the good news, now I should tell some bad news.
- I just found out that a fair amount of mail directed to my astrolog
- account at this address never reached me. This is because if one sent
- mail to the address astrolog@u.washington.edu, instead of the proper
- full astrolog@byron.u.washington.edu, it would go to an account that I
- never look at, due to an improperly defined forwarding address. So
- this means that I found 56 messages addressed to me dating all the way
- back to early September! Call it another astrolog bug ;) but it's
- fixed now, I found the old mail, and now sending to either of the
- above addresses should reach me at this account. So, if you sent mail
- to me without the "byron" in the header line before now, and you are
- wondering why I never replied, this is probably the answer. Sorry!
- Especially missed are about four well written messages by Andy Gray;
- sorry Andy, it seems like we've often had e-mail troubles, but know
- I've finally seen your good ideas, etc, now.
-
- Anyway, the week begins, transiting Mars trines my natal Sun tomorrow,
- so it's off for a few days of programming projects :)
