- Thanks to all those who sent mail and posted in reply to my request for
- help selecting a bow for a friend.

- To those who mentioned it -- yes I did mean that the sight was at the bottom
- of the slide not the top. It was low enough to interfere with the arrow.

- I should also mention that the bow in question belongs to the club at which we
- both shoot and was not what you would call the best bow in the world in any
- case. Thus the ultimate goal was a new bow while help with the old one was more
- a stop-gap measure.

- Having said that; she has now found a new bow thanks to someone from
- Melbourne (Australia; which where we are for those who did not notice the
- origin line in the header) who suggested a few local places. The bow is a
- Browning Micro Midas, and while I don't know much about such things, is
- apparently a bow designed for young shooters. Nevertheless she is quite happy
- and has already seen a marked inprovement in her shooting.
