  12. Folks;
  13.   As a new aquarist(?), I have a puzzling site in my tank.  I am talking
  14. about a 30 gal. fresh that is 4 weeks old.  One of the fish I have is a 
  15. 'golden barb' that is about 1 1/2in. long.  I obtained it from a friend
  16. who was shutting down his tank. I am not sure is I have a sick fish or
  17. not.

  19.   This barb seems normal enuf most of the time, and has nothing that looks
  20. out of the ordinary.  But every once in a while it will take off in a 
  21. flight of very rapid short segments with 90 degree turns.  I runs into
  22. polished rocks on the bottom; then turns sharply as it it had been shocked.
  23. The only other thing that seems either unusual (or ammusing) is that it
  24. seems to want to swim into the output port of the powerhead.  I have seen
  25. the giant danios riding this jet stream as well.

  27. Do I have a sick fish?  If so, with what; and what do I do about it?
