I am planning to set up a tank which will have some dwarf cichlids.  Does
anybody have any recommendations on which food brand to use?  I was looking
at Hikari brand.  They have 4 different types: staple, gold, excel, bio-gold.
What is the difference between these?  Is "gold" ok?  Bio-gold is almost
twice as expensive as the rest.  Also, what size should I get for dwarf
cichlids?  Mini or medium size?
I have one Lyretail blue ram right now and he does not seem too keen with
the Teramin staple food that I am feeding him.  He would eagerly charge at the
food, such it in, chew, and then spit most of it out.  At least he is trying to
eat.  I have a female ram which just died yesterday from starvation (my best
guess since she seems to be in good condition the night before).
