  13. Seeing the subject reminded me of an old question...  I saw the movie
  14. "Reds" some years ago - and never did understand why John Reed made
  15. the perilous trip to Moscow on behalf of U.S. communism.  Why
  16. did communists anywhere else in the world feel they needed a license
  17. or a franchise from Moscow to make their activities legit?
