- Fascism is not a form of socialism. Most enterprise in Nazi Germany was
- privately owned. The fact that socialism can take an authoritarian form
- does not mean it is fascist. Socialism usually implies some form of
- collectivism where the needs (or at least supposed needs) of the whole
- override the needs of the few. In fascism, the needs of the _state_,
- as defined by its leader override the needs of any citizen.
