  13.     I've had significant troubles with my newsfeed the past few days,
  14. so I'm not sure if this posting got out or not.  Here it comes again...

  16.         I've been asked to provide some information about software usage on
  17. the VAX.  I know I can turn on image accounting, but I'd like to get some
  18. more useful statistics.  I can probably come up with something to churn
  19. thru either the accounting file or the accounting output, but I'd rather
  20. not re-invent the wheel if I don't have to.

  22.         I have some SAS example procedures from 1986, and I tried to run
  23. them.  One of them successfully separates the various accounting records
  24. and puts them in separate SAS data sets.  It seems like the image
  25. information isn't quite right, though.  PROC PRINT on the image data set
  26. only shows the field as being 4 characters wide, and the contents aren't
  27. intelligible.

  29.         So, does anyone have anything available to process accounting
  30. files?  (Program, SAS, SPSS, etc.)  Thanks for any info.
