- This is a followup to my questions on using the SYSMAN database for startup.

- Has anyone tried using spawn/nowait in their startup?

- I don't think it's a very good idea, since the spawned process could be killed
- by the spawning process completing, and I don't see how it can be that much
- less overhead than queuing such that it would make that much difference. But
- my boss, who fancies himself to be a crack system manager, thinks it would be
- a good approach.
