  37. It turns out that when I first released the CD Player, I was under the mistaken
  38. assumption that the documentation was correct (with regards to the necessity of
  39. re-configuring the CD drive). It turns out that you don't need to do this after
  40. some version of VMS (V5.4-3 for sure, maybe earlier?). I've also made some
  41. updates to the program from when I first released it (it's now called CD_PLAYER
  42. to avoid confusion with many folks ChangeDirectory programs).

  44. You can get the latest version of it by sending mail to VMSSERV@FHCRCVAX.bitnet
  45. or VMSSERV@SPOCK.FHCRC.ORG, with a one line message of SEND CD.PACKAGE. Hunter Goatley also has it available from his server.
