- It turns out that when I first released the CD Player, I was under the mistaken
- assumption that the documentation was correct (with regards to the necessity of
- re-configuring the CD drive). It turns out that you don't need to do this after
- some version of VMS (V5.4-3 for sure, maybe earlier?). I've also made some
- updates to the program from when I first released it (it's now called CD_PLAYER
- to avoid confusion with many folks ChangeDirectory programs).

- You can get the latest version of it by sending mail to VMSSERV@FHCRCVAX.bitnet
- or VMSSERV@SPOCK.FHCRC.ORG, with a one line message of SEND CD.PACKAGE. Hunter Goatley also has it available from his server.
