  15. We are getting the following rapid series of messages on the system console. We
  16. have a VAX 780 with an Excelan board and are running VMS 5.3-1 with MULTINET
  17. 3.0. Know where I can find an explanantion of this error message or else what
  18. the problem is? I presume it has something to do with "heart beat" signals but
  19. as far as I know this is not turned on. Telnet and FTP do work by the way. But
  20. the error messages occur so frequently that the OPERATOR.LOG swells to
  21. 30,000 blocks in 2 days.
