- The "BITNET Postmaster's Guide for VAX/VMS Systems" has some very strong
- advice about the POSTMASTER account (or mailbox) to prevent problems
- like this. Watch for an announcement on the appropriate lists soon (or
- if you can't wait, GET POST_VMS 1STGETME from LISTSERVE@BITNIC).

- If your system has a POSTMASTER account with UIC [1,4] and owner
- "General Delivery", it was created by the Jnet installation procedure.
- Jnet assumes the existance of POSTMASTER in the SYSUAF and by default
- creates it. PMDF and MultiNet assume there is no POSTMASTER in the
- SYSUAF point POSTMASTER's mail to SYSTEM.
