  20. Having the time zone question default to the old value is a good idea -- we'll
  21. do that in the next release.

  23. Preserving local modifications to PMDFIMAGE.DAT is much harder. It is far
  24. from clear that there is a general way to do this that's viable. In fact,
  25. given some of the changes we're planning for the next release of PMDF, it is
  26. fairly certain that there's general way to do it.

  28. A better approach is to have a different file for site-specific image
  29. installs. PMDF_STARTUP will install images listed in this file, but we'll
  30. never provide this file so there will never be any problem associated with
  31. modifications you make to it. We'll add this functionality in the next
  32. release of PMDF.
