- Having the time zone question default to the old value is a good idea -- we'll
- do that in the next release.

- Preserving local modifications to PMDFIMAGE.DAT is much harder. It is far
- from clear that there is a general way to do this that's viable. In fact,
- given some of the changes we're planning for the next release of PMDF, it is
- fairly certain that there's general way to do it.

- A better approach is to have a different file for site-specific image
- installs. PMDF_STARTUP will install images listed in this file, but we'll
- never provide this file so there will never be any problem associated with
- modifications you make to it. We'll add this functionality in the next
- release of PMDF.
