-
- On the contray. I have the exact same answer that applies to ALL problems
- and situations people face:
-
- Deal with it, change it, or live with it.
-
- Further, you will note that I HAVE made posts regarding alternatives
- people and society have considered on such problems. I merely throw out the
- information, you have to do something with it. My only goal on here is to make
- people consider exactly what they are saying, whether or not what they are
- saying is factually based, and whther or not their soultions offer a cure, or
- merely aditional problems.
-
- If you feel that rape victims get a raw deal, what are YOU doing about it? I
- mean BESIDES complaining that I am not doing anything about it. Ever lobbied
- th legislature? Ever written laws designed to protect people? Ever done
- anything more than sit around and bitch about the horrible situation?
-
- Me clueless? Hardly. I realize the situation has been gliding along for
- thousands of years with people listing to myth and folklore as a basis for what
- they do.
-
- What has it gotten us?
-
- One in four women get raped.
-
- Maybe we need to examine a little more information on the suject before we find
- another sure cure.
-
- Further, when someone presents a hypothetical to me, asking me what I would do,
- does it really seem valid to state that because someone would not want to
- follow what I do, that I am offering them no answers? The question that was
- presented, if you had read it, was what would I do. NOT what I think other
- people should do.
-
- Now, I can see right away that someone is going to kick in with:
-
- "Well, D.C., what exactly would you advise them to do?"
-
- However, my answer to that is going to be:
-
- "Why are you looking to me to answer YOUR questions??? You have a brain, use
- it!"
-
- I am merely here to provide accurate information and supply people with
- differing viewpoints than what they currently have. I am trying to provide a
- better framing of the questions.
-
- Why do people also expect me to supply answers?
-
- That is something we all work together as a society to find and fashion.
-
- Now, what were you saying?
