- Well, I don't know. I think you might express some outrage if you
- were denied a job, or housing, or custody of your children, or a
- promotion because you're heterosexual. Or if your state said to you
- and your girlfriend, "Sorry, but you two can't get a marriage license
- because you're a man and a woman. Only couples of the same sex are
- allowed to marry." Or if you were booted out the military, although
- you have an excellent record because someone learns you're (gasp!)
- straight.

- You might just be a tad pissed off. You might think that if lesbigay
- people aren't being fired, denied marriage licenses, or booted out of
- the military for their sexual orientation, why should you as a
- straight be. It might just seem to you that these people have rights
- that you don't have.
