  28. Well, I don't know.  I think you might express some outrage if you
  29. were denied a job, or housing, or custody of your children, or a
  30. promotion because you're heterosexual.  Or if your state said to you
  31. and your girlfriend, "Sorry, but you two can't get a marriage license
  32. because you're a man and a woman.  Only couples of the same sex are
  33. allowed to marry."  Or if you were booted out the military, although
  34. you have an excellent record because someone learns you're (gasp!)
  35. straight.

  37. You might just be a tad pissed off.  You might think that if lesbigay
  38. people aren't being fired, denied marriage licenses, or booted out of
  39. the military for their sexual orientation, why should you as a
  40. straight be.  It might just seem to you that these people have rights
  41. that you don't have.
