  12. I'm new to this group, and to the subject matter in general (seems I've
  13. got QUITE a lot of catching up to do...)

  15. Anyhow, I just read another feeble attempt to prove the existence of God
  16. (Spinoza), in my quest for a cogent discussion of ethics.  The work I
  17. just read was in fact titled "Ethics", but strikes me as more or less a
  18. vehicle for Spinoza to say that God "must necessarily exist".

  20. Can anyone provide pointers to a discussion of ethics that is NOT based
  21. on Judeo-Christian mythology?
