  12. Every now and then you learn something new.  I've always heard a figure
  13. of something like 7 - 8 tons as max for a tyrannosaur.  The 91 edition
  14. of Guiness' Book of World Records, page 108, claims that the 7 - 8 ton
  15. individuals might actually have been juveniles, and that partial skulls
  16. have been found which indicate a length of 44', and a weight of more than
  17. 13 tons.

  19. That is a biped with a Holden number which is over the limit (around 30).

  21. If you should ever be standing around a time machine, and have some moron
  22. ask you your preference between bringing back the 44' trex or one of the 6'
  23. carnosaurs, go for the 44-footer.  You'd be in no danger that way;  he'd
  24. collapse in a heap under our gravity.  The 6' carnosaur would probably
  25. kill you.
