  16. Josh Knauer evidently missed the postings in which I made my main
  17. point - that the environmentalists, just as much as business
  18. and government, owe the public impact statements about their
  19. proposals that would include negative impacts.  For this reason,
  20. I ask from *them* a statement of the possible negative impacts
  21. of *their* proposals.  For example, Knauer could begin by telling
  22. us, if he even knows, what negative impact the bill by the Indiana
  23. Congressman would have on astronomy.  He could then tell us,
  24. "This is not as important as ...".  Advocates of the Mount Graham
  25. telescopes could then say, "Your impact statement has left out ...".
