- Josh Knauer evidently missed the postings in which I made my main
- point - that the environmentalists, just as much as business
- and government, owe the public impact statements about their
- proposals that would include negative impacts. For this reason,
- I ask from *them* a statement of the possible negative impacts
- of *their* proposals. For example, Knauer could begin by telling
- us, if he even knows, what negative impact the bill by the Indiana
- Congressman would have on astronomy. He could then tell us,
- "This is not as important as ...". Advocates of the Mount Graham
- telescopes could then say, "Your impact statement has left out ...".
