  22. of what two sane, healthy, consenting adults may choose to do in the privacy of
  23. their own homes.  You call this feeling "disgust" because you can't even admit
  24. to what it really is - fear (that's what "phobia" means) - fear of the different.
  25. The fear of homosexuals is not a natural fear - it is a conditioned response.
  26. Society teaches you to seek out a herd of your own kind, and to fear those who
  27. are different - homosexuals, blacks, jews, vagrants, . . . .

  29. It is more understandable, although still irrational, to be afraid that a
  30. homosexual may make advances to you.  Again, this is a conditioned response
  31. instilled by the teachings of society, which says that it is O.K. for a man
  32. to walk up to a strange woman and make sexual advances, but any other pairing
  33. is in some way deviant.  It has been my experience that the technique used
  34. by women to fend of undesired advances works just as well - just say "No".
  35. In fact it works rather better - I can't recall hearing of too many cases
  36. where a male was raped because an overly-agressive homosexual took "No" to
  37. mean "Yes, but I have to say No because society expects it of me".

  39. Personally, I would rather hang around with homosexuals than with people
  40. who believe that they are doing homosexuals a favour by "tolerating" them.
