- Curiously, most of what you've listed are not communicable diseases.
- If the black plague made a reappearance in the world, wouldn't you start
- screaming for something to be done? Further, a little in the way
- of prevention would go a long way towards bills that might come
- back to us later. Consider that there are 1 million HIV infections
- in the US today. Consider that each of these will cost around $125K
- to treat. We are all in the same boat, since we will all bear these
- financial burdens.
