  24. Curiously, most of what you've listed are not communicable diseases.
  25. If the black plague made a reappearance in the world, wouldn't you start
  26. screaming for something to be done?  Further, a little in the way
  27. of prevention would go a long way towards bills that might come
  28. back to us later.  Consider that there are 1 million HIV infections
  29. in the US today.  Consider that each of these will cost around $125K
  30. to treat.  We are all in the same boat, since we will all bear these
  31. financial burdens.
