  22. It is my understanding that all viruses mutate.  This is why researchers
  23. can't find a cure for the common cold, why people have to be reimmunized
  24. for new flu strains every year, and why HIV is such a devestatingly
  25. frightening disease.

  27. Since this is alt.politics.bush, can anybody confirm or deny the following
  28. statement made by Bush?  Paraphrased, "AIDS is not the government's
  29. responsibility.  And AIDS will not go away until teenagers stop having sex."
  30. I'll restrain from letting loose on this one until I find out whether
  31. or not he actually said this.
