  16. I wonder who the NRA is going to endorse, in the Presidential Election?
  17. I mean, President Mush is perfectly likely to turn on anybody, if the
  18. wind is blowing against them.  I've heard that Clinton is in favor of
  19. banning some types of firearm.  My heart tells me to vote Libertarian
  20. but I don't want to see Mush win again.

  26.   87% of registered voters would oppose a law giving police the power
  27.       to decide who may own a firearm
  28.   91% of registered voters agree that registration of handguns will not
  29.       prevent criminals from getting or using them

  33.   71% of the police support the right of law-abiding citizens to purchase
  34.       ANY kind of firearm
  35.   88% do not believe that a ban of "military type" long rifles will reduce
  36.       criminal acquisition of them.

  40. Book".  The second 2 come from the 1989 Law Enforcement Officers' Poll of
  41. 16,000 police chiefs and sheriffs, conducted by the National Association
  42. of Chiefs of Police; taken from a handout produced by the Citizens Committee
  43. for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
