- *ANY* ecomomist had better agree that we're not in a recession. Check
- the growth rate for the Gross Domestic Product for the last two
- quarters. If it is positive in both quarters, we are no longer in a
- recession, we are in the recovery (however slow and shallow it might
- be). 'Recession' is a quite specific thing. It doesn't just mean,
- "I'm having a hard time getting a job".
