  27. I think this demonstrates my point rather well.  This kind
  28. of twisted, hate-driven "thinking" is precisely what hindered
  29. early efforts to slow the spread of AIDS.

  31. I might also add that while the Reaganites and Bushies might
  32. be bigots, I would guess that there are relatively few so
  33. cowardly as to be unwilling to stand behind what they say and
  34. make their identities known.
