  12. I continue to be amazed at the incredible volume in this group, in light of
  13. the fact that when offered the chance to write articles for a magazine
  14. doing a special issue on abortion, only one person has done so.
  15. (A small additional number have sent poetry.)

  17. C'MON, people, do you actually care enough about your position on this
  18. issue to write something coherent, or do you just like to flame
  19. about it?

  21. If this piques your interest and you'd like to write a piece on the issue
  22. (yes, I am accepting pro - life, pro - choice, *and* intermediate views),
  23. please email an inquiry (or an article - anything from half a page to
  24. ten pages, news items (your own), historical pieces, position papers,
  25. first - person accounts, anything!) to VOICE magazine care of boutell@cshl.org.

  27. I continue to be amazed at the number of people who find the time to bitch
  28. about this topic but turn down the chance to air their views before
  29. a *much* larger audience. Talking about abortion here is preaching to
  30. the converted and the damned, respectively (which is which is a matter
  31. of opinion); neither can be convinced of anything. If you really want to
  32. get something accomplished, try writing for a larger audience. Thanks.
