  22. him to be one of the more reasonable people in this group.  However,

  24. separately confirming what he has said, which I might remind him is that
  25. "Abortion stops a beating heart."  He called that a "simple fact."
  26. It is not.  It is not true that abortion stops a beating heart, nor
  27. is the existance of a heart a necessary condition for abortion.  In 
  28. fact, it is never (to be fair, in the sources I looked at) mentioned at
  29. all much less as a condition of abortion.

  39. Several of them.  I am not a lexicographer or an M.D.  I merely fix computers
  40. for folks who are doctors and do the word processing for them.  As I have
  41. access to their offices, I sometimes look in their dictionaries.

  49. myself, am a pilot (albeit a rather poor one, but a pilot nonetheless).

  72. I didn't state at all that you proposed legislating against abortion.  I
  73. stated that those who do don't seem to know what they are talking about.
  74. That's a bit different than stating that those who don't know what they
  75. are talking about propose legislation against abortion.  Shoot, a lot of
  76. people who don't know what they are talking about don't propose any
  77. legislation.  Some of them still feel free to assert that things like 
  78. "Abortion stops a beating heart" constitute a "simple fact."
