  13. organizations.  Here is their mission statement:

  15.     We are committed to the protection of life, which is threatened
  16.     in today's world by war, abortion, poverty, arms races, the
  17.     death penalty, and euthanasia.  We believe that these issues are
  18.     linked under a consistent ethic of life.  We challenge those 
  19.     working on some or all of these issues to maintain a cooperative
  20.     spirit of peace, reconciliation, and respect in protecting the
  21.     unprotected.
