  16. I assume that many of the readers here are deeply interested in SETI, 
  17. extra-terrestrial life (in particular, intelligent), etc.. How can one hope
  18. that there may be *any* useful (and peaceful) contact with ETI's if we
  19. are not even able to peaceful co-existence with the other TI's (the whales) ?
