  25. consulting with him for some of the details. Just a couple of months ago
  26. somebody came up to me asking for a 'translation' (physics to English) of
  27. the answer he got to a letter he sent to Stephen Hawking. The reply
  28. clearly stated that it had been written by a grad student. The rest was
  29. not so clear, but that was probably because I didn't know the original
  30. question as phrased, and the fellow who showed me the letter didn't have
  31. a copy of the letter he sent.
