  15.      Don't get upset Tom, the data isn't really that bad.  Wilcoxon's
  16. Rank Sum W alpha = 0.037, Binomial test alpha = 0.0730, Paired
  17. differences alpha = 0.1094 or 0.3438 (There were an odd number of
  18. measurements this time.  The two numbers are for discarding the first
  19. or last measurement respectively.)

  21.      Also the apparent slight increase in effect with time has become
  22. a deluge.  (At which point did you start using the "blank" source?)

  24.      One last point...a geiger counter is not the best detector for
  25. gamma rays.  Putting an appropriate material (Boron, I think) in place
  26. will substantially increase the sensitivity to gammas. I've seen
  27. counters which come with just such a shield.
