  31. Drawing on research in psychology, artificial intelligence,
  32. linguistics, philosophy and computer science, work in the Cognitive
  33. Sciences promises an interdisciplinary approach to the mind which
  34. transforms our understanding of psychological phenomena. The
  35. conference will address a variety of questions concerning the
  36. foundations of cognitive science and the philosophical importance of
  37. the models of mind which it produces in such areas as connectionism,
  38. conceptual thought, intentionality, rationality, and perception.

  40. The proceedings of the conference will be published in a volume
  41. produced by the Cambridge University Press, as a supplement to the
  42. journal _Philosophy_.

  106. waived if evidence of status is sent. For a limited number of
  107. postgraduate students, all other charges will be at half-price: if you
  108. wish to apply for this reduction, please write to the organisers
  109. indicating your research topic and reason for attending the
  110. conference.

  113. accommodation, and for bookings received after 10th August an
  114. additional charge of 10 pounds has to be made.
